Do you know how many active vocabularies you have?
Active vocabularies are the words that come immediately to your mind when you want to express yourself in writing as well as in speaking. If you have 2,000 to 3,000 active vocabularies you are at the intermediate group.
Do not count your vocabulary. Try to explain one thing with one single word or a phrase, if you can then you have good active vocabulary, but if you use statement to explain, then you need to work on it.
